Hi! My name is Samantha and I live in the Netherlands (Rotterdam). I would like to tell you about my bond with my beautiful chestnut mare La Luna.
It all started when Luna was 2.5 years old. My mother made a huge impulse purchase via Facebook, had the inspection recorded on a video and then La Luna was brought to us from the other side of the Netherlands. Luna had a trailer accident as a foal, so it was wiser that she was brought to us with another horse because she was very scared during transport. Luna also fell during the inspection, which was a setback. I was actually a bit afraid of making a big bad purchase. Once we arrived, I saw that she was quite small, and I was actually a bit angry with my mother. “Can she walk well?” I asked again. When we later put her outside, she immediately ran through the wires, "well, at least she can walk well," I said. That's how it all started.
The start-up was not easy (chestnut mares) but I never gave up on us. Strange, because I'm normally quite easy with sales. But Luna is special. She gives me a lot of motivation, inspiration and we do the best things together. Training also improves with the right instruction. I have finally achieved my goal in dressage, something I never dared to dream of. As long as you keep believing, everything will be fine. Luna will be 8 this year and I know one thing for sure, she will never leave me again. We recently sold our house that included all the horses.
The horses are now at the barn nearby. But... Home is where the horse is!
Greets, Sam
